Premier Skills

Premier Skills combines the global reach of the Premier League and its
experience in delivering community football programmes with the international
network and educational expertise of the British Council.

Premier Skills
Premier Skills is a global programme that uses the appeal of football to support young people in developing skills, confidence and opportunities within their communities. Since its launch in 2007, the programme has operated in 29 countries worldwide, including Brazil, China, India, Kenya, South Africa, the USA and Vietnam, reaching thousands of young people through coaching, education and community initiatives.

The Exhibition
We were commissioned to design an exhibition celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Premier Skills programme and the global cultural reach of the Premier League. The exhibition highlights the programme’s international impact, telling the stories of players, coaches, fans and young participants whose lives have been influenced by Premier Skills.

Film
During the art direction of Charlie’s shoot, we captured additional
footage which was later edited into a short film. The result demonstrates
the impact and ambition behind the Premier Skills programme.

The Exhibition (in your pocket)
Mobility was a key part of the brief. Rather than designing a
physical exhibition that would require modular structures, shipping
containers and complex logistics, we proposed a Virtual Reality tour.
